 Trip rail also known as knee rail is used in conjunction with either 3x3 Timber Posts or 4x4 Timber Posts. 
This style of fencing can be used to define boundaries particularly to the front of a property and will help prevent people and cars from cutting across the garden, for this reason it is also ideal if you wish to plant shrubbery along a boundary as it gives a form of protection as the shrubbery grows and establishes itself .
Our Trip Rail Posts come pressure treated this is to protect and help fight against rot and decay. Depending on the type of timber used the colour can vary from a light to a darker shade. We recommend staining all timber products with an oil or spirit base treatment after 8 – 12 months of erecting your fence this continues to help protect all timbers and keeps your fence looking at its best.
