This legged trellis is part of our bespoke range and is made up with 38mm x 16mm battens. This product was designed for slotting on top of  a continuous run of Feather Board fencing, it has two legs to the front and two legs at the rear (at the rear the legs measure 6 inches from the bottom of the trellis and 9 inches from the front) this is to give a secure fit over the very top of the feather board fence.
Depending on how your fence has been erected the rear legs might need to be simply trimmed with a hand saw as the top rail may be fixed less than 6 inches from the top height of the fence. 
The legged trellis is fitted to the fence by using screws and is designed to butt up against one another to achieve the effect of one continuous run 
We recommend staining all timber products with an oil or spirit-based treatment after 8 – 12 months of erecting your fence this continues to help protect all timbers and keeps your fence looking at its best.
