This style of timber post is more of a heavy duty product. The thickness of this post is designed to take the weight of our heavier duty gates. If installed correctly these posts will help prevent your gates from dropping over time.
Our 6"x6" timber posts come pressure treated this is to protect and help fight against rot and decay. Depending on the type of timber used the colour can vary from a light to a darker shade. We recommend staining all timber products with an oil or spirit-based treatment after 8 – 12 months of erecting your fence this continues to help protect all timbers and keeps your fence looking at its best
