This 4x2 wall plate is generally used to create gate frames for side entry gates and also to fix onto brick work for starter posts for your fence line.
Our stock of 4” x 2”  wall plates come pressure treated this is to protect and help fight against rot and decay. Depending on the type of timber used the colour can vary from a light to a darker shade. We recommend staining all timber products with an oil or spirit base treatment after 8 – 12 months of erecting your fence this continues to help protect all timbers and keeps your fence looking at its best.
